Sunwoo Yongyeo challenged to become 'Korea's oldest' YouTuber.
On the 24th, a video titled "The tumultuous 80-year life of Korea's oldest YouTuber 'Sunwoo Yongyeo' (the first domestic pre-marital pregnancy, born in Itaewon, war evacuation)" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Smooth Sailing Sunwoo Yongyeo.'
The released video is the first video since the opening of Sunwoo Yongyeo's YouTube, and the celebration party on that day was graced by the presence of fellow comedians Lee Kyung-sil, Kim Ji-sun, and Jo Hye-ryeon.
Sunwoo Yongyeo joked in response to Jo Hye-ryeon's comment, "At eighty-one, I'm doing this," saying, "YouTube is also something the oldest woman does. The oldest YouTuber. But don't call me the oldest too much. My heart is twenty years old."
Regarding her reason for starting YouTube, Sunwoo Yongyeo stated, "Age is just a number. From now on, if I don't steal, cheat, or take someone else's husband, I want to do whatever I want from then on."
She explained the reason for naming her YouTube channel 'Smooth Sailing Sunwoo Yongyeo,' saying, "'Smooth sailing' means a gentle wind blowing. I hope that both older and younger viewers watching me can see that I feel like 'I am genuinely going smoothly' while living my life."
Additionally, Sunwoo Yongyeo remarked, "I didn't start YouTube to become famous. Honestly, I left that behind when I married my husband," adding, "Now that I'm turning 80, I want to do everything I want. I want to go where I want to go, eat what I want to eat, and meet the people I want to meet. I want to tell mothers to not just sit at home and to go out, no matter where it is."
Moreover, through the video description, Sunwoo Yongyeo greeted, "I am 81 years old, but my life is just starting again. There are laughs, tears... I've lived, and there have indeed been many things. I intend to share the stories of such a life and the wisdom gained from them one by one here."
