Choi Min-a (Jo Ha-rang), a former member of the group Jewelry, reflected on her growth as she became known as the "Insurance Queen."
Min-a posted on her social media on the 24th, starting with, "Throughout my life, I have had various jobs, including child actor, singer, musical actor, solo album activities, bakery café owner, tarot master, and insurance consultant."
She continued, "Once I start a job, I have pursued it fiercely and passionately for a minimum of five years to a maximum of nearly ten years."
In doing so, Min-a recalled, "During such times, I thought about the clear reasons why I started this work, the overwhelming excitement I felt when I first began, the happiness I derive from this work, the responsibility I have toward those who believe in me, and the future I envision as I continue to grow beautifully. I didn't stop but kept going. As time passed, my wounds healed and new skin grew in their place."
Additionally, she noted, "I believe what matters most is how I spend that time. If I had sat down in despair every time I hit a wall thinking, 'Why am I the only one struggling like this?' I might have just stopped completely." She added, "While reflecting on my past during difficult times, I sought enlightenment and remained devoted to the present, which I believe greatly contributed to my growth." She concluded with, "I sincerely thank you for always supporting me and giving me overflowing love."

Earlier on the 20th, Min-a shared her current status on social media, saying, "It's not that the good ones last long, but that the ones who last long become good. Consistently and happily. Let's continue to do this for a long time. #National No. 1," along with a photo of her receiving an award after becoming the "Insurance Queen," the number one in the country after starting her work as an insurance planner.
Min-a previously revealed her new challenge as an insurance planner in September of last year. At that time, Min-a shared her employee ID from the insurance company and a notebook filled with related study materials, signaling her new challenge. Since then, Min-a has repeatedly announced her awards through social media as she started her new life as an insurance planner.
Min-a has continuously challenged herself in various fields. She has run a bakery and has become a tarot master, earning achievements across multiple industries. Despite facing various suspicions and controversies while running the bakery, she did not stop her challenges. Furthermore, she is being supported for achieving steady accomplishments as an insurance planner.
In particular, Min-a has started a new life as a single mother after going through a six-month divorce lawsuit in 2022. After registering her marriage three weeks after meeting her husband in November 2020, she gave birth to her first son and later announced the start of divorce proceedings, becoming a single mother after six months of disputes.
