AOMG's rookie artist group SIKKOO has previewed their witty new song "MAGUTGAN."
SIKKOO (Yoshi, 200, Koo Min-jae) released a teaser video for track 1 "MAGUTGAN" from their new EP "간 (間)" through the official social media and YouTube channel of their agency, AOMG, on the 23rd.
Yoshi, transformed into a cowboy from a Western film, showcased a presence that filled the space with his unique free-spirited atmosphere.
Utilizing a documentary-style visual, the message of "MAGUTGAN" is wittily conveyed with, "A herd of horses galloping with their manes flying across the vast prairie. But when you step back and look, suddenly a very human question arises. Wait a minute, isn't there too much talk about horses?" This direction captures attention.
"MAGUTGAN" criticizes those who only talk and declares a full-scale battle against the words surrounding SIKKOO. The clever use of homophones stands out. Yoshi, 200, and Koo Min-jae participated in writing and composing the song, further clarifying SIKKOO's unique tone.
The new album "간 (間)," which SIKKOO is releasing for the first time this year after joining AOMG, consists of four tracks starting with "MAGUTGAN," followed by "대장간" (Smithy), "푸줏간" (Butcher Shop), and the title track "방앗간" (Mill). It is expected to evoke natural smiles with its lively sound and witty lyrics while delivering a sharp message.
As the first runner of the AOMG 2.0 rebranding project and the one showcasing "Korean hip-hop," SIKKOO's new EP "간 (間)" will be released on the 29th at 6 p.m. through various online music sites. On the same day, SIKKOO plans to hold their first showcase since debuting and kick off their active promotions.
