The robot Kim Kang-woo from 'Villains Everywhere' reached the pinnacle of melodrama.
In the KBS2TV Wednesday sitcom 'Villains Everywhere' aired on the 23rd (directed by Kim Young-jo, Choi Jung-eun, written by Chae Woo and Park Kwang-yeon), the scene depicted the human-robot Kang-woo (played by Kim Kang-woo) providing comfort to Oh Na-ra (played by Oh Na-ra), while Seo Hyun-cheol (played by Seo Hyun-cheol) wanted to get rid of the robot after seeing his wife's demeanor.
Oh Na-ra was very angry at Seo Hyun-cheol, feeling betrayed by him after he lied about working on the weekend and went out to play golf with Song Jin-woo (played by Song Jin-woo).
The fact that the human-robot had won a trip was revealed to Oh Na-ra. From cleaning window frames to washing bedding and floor cleaning, the robot with a decent face and sleek figure could perform everything perfectly, plus it was the best robot that could even embody historical mode, aegyo mode, tough guy mode, and idol mode.
Oh Na-ra said, "You work really hard," adding, "I don't know what to call you. The name that we should call each other. I'll go by Na-ra, but what should I call you? Okay, let's call you Kang-woo," to which the robot Kang-woo responded, "That's a nice name. I like it." Na-ra reminisced, saying, "Actually, it was the name of my first love in high school. He was the president of the waltz club, and you seem a bit like him. It brings back memories of that time."
The robot Kang-woo had no limitations. He immediately played waltz music and danced the waltz with Oh Na-ra. Oh Na-ra admired, "What robot has all these features?" and Kang-woo gazed romantically, saying, "I am more than you can imagine."
Seeing this, Seo Hyun-cheol was astonished. However, Oh Na-ra ignored her husband with a chilling breeze. She complained to Kang-woo, "Anyway, people can change like this. In the past, he treated me like gold and jade." Kang-woo consoled Oh Na-ra, who found herself comforted, shedding tears.
Seo Hyun-cheol also continued his efforts. Whether he was making sandwiches for Oh Na-ra or not, his efforts were imagined, but the robot Kang-woo interfered. Angry, Seo Hyun-cheol even fed the robot alcohol in an attempt to break it.
Oh Na-ra genuinely worried about robot Kang-woo; however, the robot had waterproof features. Upon realizing this, Oh Na-ra asked, "Why did you do that, Kang-woo? You won't break even if you get wet. You have waterproof features. Were you the one who put cucumbers in the sandwich?" to which Kang-woo confessed, "I did it because I like you so much. You are my everything. I would do anything for you. I even said I wish I were your husband instead of Hyun-cheol. Please, please, Na-ra," as he professed his heart.
However, the person Oh Na-ra loved was only her husband, Seo Hyun-cheol. With a bittersweet smile, she persuaded the robot, saying, "My husband is not perfect like you, lacks awareness, and is a bit silly, but I love that man. Love is messy and embraces even the most pathetic aspects, just as he has done for me all this time." Of course, all of this was a dream, but their feelings remained unchanged.
