Actress Jin Ki-joo announced a new start at BASS.
BASS is a newly established agency co-founded by actors Cha Tae-hyun and Jo In-sung, and Jin Ki-joo's joining as the first recruited actor signals a new leap forward.
Jin Ki-joo recently starred as Oh Soo-a, a temporary teacher at Byeongmun High School, in the recently concluded MBC drama 'Undercover High School,' receiving much love from viewers for her passionate performance that ranged from exciting romance to serious and comedic roles. Additionally, in the Disney+ original series 'Samshik's Uncle,' she portrayed Joo Yeo-jin, a strong and self-reliant character during a turbulent period in Korean modern history.
The BASS side noted, "We welcomed actress Jin Ki-joo, who has been proving her acting skills through various works and receiving steady love. Celebrating her 10th debut anniversary this year, Jin Ki-joo has solidified her position as an actress since her debut in the 2015 tvN drama 'Second Twenty.' She has appeared in dramas such as 'Misty,' 'Come and Hug Me,' 'Love at First Sight,' 'Encounter,' and films like 'Little Forest,' 'Midnight,' and 'The Land of Happiness.'
She has confirmed her appearance in the upcoming Netflix series 'Proper Education,' where she will play a director of the Protection of Teaching Rights Bureau, engaging with Kim Mu-yeol and Lee Sung-min.
