It has been reported that K.Will has been active as a director, working at the same company for nearly 20 years since debuting as Starship Entertainment's first artist. Currently, Starship Entertainment is also famous as the agency for the popular girl group IVE.
K.Will noted, "I am the only affiliated artist with the director title," adding, "I have personally invested in the equity of the company and am officially receiving a salary for the director position."
When asked about his feelings upon receiving his first salary, he said, "It was fun. I really felt like a working person," and added with a smile, "The company benefits are good; there are holiday bonuses and welfare points." This caused Kim Gu-ra to remark, "Your face has changed to look like that of a working person," prompting a burst of laughter.
