On the 24th, an interview with Ma Dong-seok, the lead actor of the film 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters' (written and directed by Lim Dae-hee, distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Big Punch Pictures and Nova Film), was held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Seoul.
Previously, Ma Dong-seok captured the attention of netizens by posting a short message on his social media in January along with a photo with junior actor Byun Woo-seok saying, "Dong-seok, jump with me." The unexpected combination and connection surprised many.
In this regard, Ma Dong-seok noted, "(We) are close. Doesn't match, right?" jokingly adding, "I used to work on a film called 'Baekdusan' (2019) together as well," which drew attention.
He continued, "There's a scene where I'm arguing with actor Jeon Hye-jin, and in the scene where I'm being taken to the office, there was a tall bodyguard next to me. Byun Woo-seok was one of them," which generated surprise.
Ma Dong-seok also shared, "I really like actor Byun Woo-seok. He has worked really hard for over 10 years, and now he is doing so well in a great project, so I'm really happy for him," joking, "There are unexpectedly close people. I don't only know boxers."
Meanwhile, 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters' is an occult action film where a city thrown into chaos by a group that worships evil is fought against by the 'Holy Night' team — Ba-u (played by Ma Dong-seok), Sharon (played by Seo-hyun), and Kim-gun (played by Lee Da-wit) — who have special abilities. It is set to be released on the 30th.
