Broadcaster and lawyer Seo Dong-joo clarified her position after receiving a flood of negative comments following the release of a video showing her in a wedding dress.
On the 22nd, Seo posted on her social media, "It might be words I could normally overlook, but maybe because it's comments on a video of me in a wedding dress, I feel a bit unsettled," along with the video.
The released video captures attention as it compiles negative comments on the wedding dress video that Seo previously shared on social media. Comments like "You're really attention-seeking," "Are you pregnant?," "You've gained weight," "Do you get married as if it's just a meal?," and "Pretending to be modest" disturb viewers.
Seo expressed her feelings, saying, "This is how much I've excluded the really harsh ones; I feel upset."
Earlier on the 14th, Seo posted a video on her personal social media with the caption, "I want to brag a bit, hehe."
Seo stated, "I went to try on wedding dresses recently, and my fiancé unknowingly studied and prepared to react enthusiastically. I was really touched."
She added, "I can't express how grateful I am for the thoughtful and caring reaction from someone as blunt as me."
The released video features Seo Dong-joo appearing in several dresses, along with her fiancé displaying different reactions for each.
Seo's fiancé prepared papers to continue different reactions, capturing attention with perfect reactions, such as placing heart-shaped stickers on his eyes or wearing sunglasses while making surprised expressions.
Meanwhile, Seo married a 6-year-older Korean-American in the U.S. in 2010 but divorced after four years. Since then, she has publicly dated a boyfriend who is four years younger and is set to remarry in June.
