The stars of the film "Virus" will meet the audience.
On the 23rd, the team behind the film "Virus" (directed by Kang Yi-kwan, provided/distributed by Vypoem Studio, produced by The Lamp) announced that they will hold a "Happy Spread GV" in celebration of the film's release on May 7.
"Virus" tells the story of 'Taekseon,' who is infected with a 100% fatal virus that causes people to fall in love without reason, and his unexpected journey with three men: 'Supil,' a single researcher, 'Yeonwoo,' a long-time classmate, and 'Igyeon,' the only expert capable of creating a treatment.
The "Happy Spread GV" will feature Bae Doona, who plays the role of 'Taekseon,' a translator who becomes completely different overnight after being infected by the "Toxso Virus"; Kim Yoon-seok, who portrays the "Toxso Virus" expert 'Igyeon'; Jang Ki-ha, who plays 'Yeonwoo,' a childhood friend of 'Taekseon'; Kim Hee-won, who takes on the role of the 'Research Director' of the Sexual Medical Foundation; and director Kang Yi-kwan, who helms the film "Virus." Under the moderation of journalist Jang Seong-ran, the team is expected to provide fun insights that will satisfy the audience's curiosity surrounding "Virus."
In particular, director Kang Yi-kwan will share insights from the initial motivation that led him to produce "Virus," the messages he aimed to convey through the film, as well as various stories including the highlights and behind-the-scenes moments selected by the stars of "Virus," promising to give the audience a "happy" time. "Virus" will be released in theaters nationwide on May 7.
