Rosé's global megahit 'APT.' has set another record.
The Black Label announced on the 21st (local time) that the duet song 'APT.' by Rosé and Bruno Mars maintained its previous ranking of 13 on the U.S. Billboard main singles chart 'HOT 100.' This marks a record of 26 consecutive weeks on the chart, with Rosé once again breaking the record for the longest charting by a K-pop female artist.
'APT.' is a pre-released single from Rosé's first full album 'rosie,' which was released on Dec. 6 last year, and it garnered explosive reactions upon its release, creating a syndrome. The duet 'APT.' by two global artists, Rosé and Bruno Mars, became even more of a talking point as it simultaneously topped charts both domestically and internationally, showcasing the great integration of the global music market.
Immediately after its release, 'APT.' swept across the globe, rebounding on the Billboard chart that was swept by the Christmas carol craze and creating a 'reverse driving' graph. Rosé, who has set unprecedented box office records, also made her way onto Time magazine's list of '100 Most Influential People in the World 2025,' demonstrating her position as a leading figure in the syndrome.
'APT.' included in Rosé's first album 'rosie' also created a significant impact upon its release. 'rosie' gained attention for Rosé's participation in writing and composing all of its songs, and it entered the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' at number 3, breaking the record for the highest entry by a K-pop female artist once again.
Meanwhile, Rosé is expected to continue her active music activities in 2025.
