BTS Jin showcases his entertaining talent while meeting the members of 'Diver: Searching for the Lost Screw.'
According to OSEN's report on the 23rd, BTS Jin has completed filming for the Netflix variety show 'Diver: Searching for the Lost Screw.' His grants will be released in May, following the ongoing Busan friendship travel segment.
'Diver: Searching for the Lost Screw' (hereafter referred to as Diver) is a variety show featuring the top 99% of comic talents, including Gim Suk, Hong Jin Kyung, Cho Sae-ho, Joo Woo-jae, and Jang Woo-young, who assemble the joys and sorrows of life without screws. Since its release on Netflix on February 23, it has received much love, including reaching first place in the 'Today's Top 10 series in South Korea.'
In particular, 'Diver' attracted attention for its revival of the concept variety show KBS2 'Hong Kim Dong Coin,' where fate changes with coins. Offering freshness and laughter rarely seen in the entertainment industry, which has established observation, deduction, and travel as major formats, it won the 280th 'PD of the Month' award in the TV entertainment category for the episode 'Return of the Spoons Game.' However, it ended disappointingly due to low viewership ratings and financial difficulties at KBS.
Having received so much love that a fan cafe was created—a rare occurrence for a variety program—the members and production team moved to Netflix, surpassing notable works such as 'Witch' and 'Melomovie' to secure the top position and announce a dazzling revival.
BTS Jin is demonstrating his entertainment skills by appearing in various shows after his service. He has participated in programs such as MBC's 'It's a Blessing to Rest' and tvN's 'Handsome Guys' as well as the web entertainment 'Neighborhood Star K4.' On the 22nd, he provided laughter with his sincere attitude and unique humor in the latest episode of the Netflix original 'Kian's Bizarre B&B.'
This is not the first time a BTS member has met Gim Suk, Hong Jin Kyung, Cho Sae-ho, Joo Woo-jae, and Jang Woo-young. Previously, BTS's Jimin appeared during 'Hong Kim Dong Coin' and brought great laughter with the 'Dangerous Invitation' concept.
