The first teaser video highlighting the compelling actions of the dedicated lawyer Jung Kyung-ho in 'Oh My Ghost Clients' has been officially released.
The new MBC weekend drama 'Oh My Ghost Clients' (planned by Kwon Seong-chang, written by Kim Bo-tong and Yoo Seung-hee, directed by Im Soon-rye and Lee Han-jun, produced by Broccoli Pictures), which will premiere on May 30, is a comic fantasy action drama dealing with the misadventures of a lawyer who sees ghosts handling labor issues. As the first drama directed by filmmaker Im Soon-rye, who previously directed the OTT dramas 'D.P.' and 'Hwang-ya,' the script is a collaboration between writer Kim Bo-tong and writer Yoo Seung-hee, known for the films 'My Love, My Bride' and 'I Can Speak.' The drama is garnering much attention with a fascinating cast lineup, including Jung Kyung-ho, Seol In-ah, and Cha Hak-yeon.
The recently released first teaser video raises interest with the appearance of the newly established law office by attorney Jung Kyung-ho, featuring the tagline "There has never been a professional who works this hard." To earn a living, Jung Kyung-ho finds himself in a life-threatening situation and desperately asks, "If I sign this, you will save my life, right?" as he enters into a mysterious contract that involves his life as collateral.
Following that, shocking events unfold as only Jung Kyung-ho begins to see ghosts. His sister-in-law Na Hee-joo (Seol In-ah), who has a knack for finding profitable opportunities, and video creator Ko Gyeon-woo (Cha Hak-yeon), who chases views, tempt him by saying, "The world's first and only ghost-seeing lawyer." Anticipation builds as Jung Kyung-ho, holding onto his life, responds to various labor sites to resolve the grievances of the ghosts.
'Oh My Ghost Clients' focuses on the unique profession of a labor lawyer, breaking away from the traditional professional drama that typically features doctors, lawyers, and prosecutors. The fantastical element of seeing ghosts adds a sense of fun and freshness. The first teaser video effectively showcased the charm of this drama.
Particularly, Jung Kyung-ho enhances the enjoyment by comically portraying the struggles of Jung Kyung-ho, who runs around labor sites to make a living with what he describes as 'compelling actions.' His frantic expressions, combined with his physical struggles and humorous misfortunes, are brought to life through Jung Kyung-ho's committed performance. Seol In-ah and Cha Hak-yeon are also set to play unique characters who work alongside Jung Kyung-ho at labor sites, hinting at a dynamic that has not been seen in previous works.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Jung Kyung-ho responded to a question about what else he would consider a pillar of his life beyond acting by saying, "It's a bit clichéd, but for me, the center of my life outside of acting is Choi Soo-young. I sometimes think that my acting is due to her. I want to show her that I'm a good person and a good actor. What makes me happiest outside of acting is her happiness. We've been seeing each other for a long time, and that tends to lead to more frequent meetings. Thanks to her patience, we could maintain our long relationship. I used to make many mistakes and get drunk often, but I don't do that anymore."
Jung Kyung-ho drew attention when he said, "The existence of a life partner with whom I've spent a long time together is important," adding that "it's possible given that we both dreamed of being good actors since a long time ago."
