AOMG's new artist group SIKKOO is set to make a big leap with their new EP 'Gaps (간).'
SIKKOO, consisting of Yoshi, 200, and Koo Min-jae, will release the new EP 'Gaps (간)' on the 29th at 6 p.m. through various online music sites. On the same day, they will hold their first showcase after debuting at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, to meet with fans.
'Gaps (간)' is the first album SIKKOO presents after joining the global hip-hop label AOMG this year. It is expected to showcase the distinct personalities of the three SIKKOO members, as well as the musical direction they will pursue as SIKKOO.
AOMG released a unique teaser image with the caption 'SIKKOO Mart practical album schedule revelation' on their official social media on the 22nd. The teaser, reminiscent of a grocery store sale flyer, unveiled unique song titles including 'Mill', 'Stable', 'Forge', and 'Butchery' along with the title track 'Mill'.
Additionally, AOMG introduced the three SIKKOO members by saying, 'Yoshi, the man whose life is a 365/24 Stable,' 'This is 200, a hammer eager to ruin you,' and 'Koo Min-jae, whose meal disappears in an instant!' which drew attention.
Interest is focused on SIKKOO's active steps that encompass all genres, including hip-hop, classic & rock, R&B, house, reggae, jazz, and K-POP.
Along with this, Yoshi's first concept photo has been released. The background, filled with a distinctly Korean sentiment, and Yoshi's hip charm create an intriguing expectation of the essence of 'Korean hip-hop' that SIKKOO will showcase.
As the first player in AOMG's 2.0 rebranding project declared this year, SIKKOO is a multi-play hybrid group pursuing 'Korean hip-hop,' which expresses a distinctly Korean sentiment to the public. Last year, they recorded 10 million views for their video 'TEAM TOMODACHI (KR Remix)' (Team Tomodachi (Korean Remix)).
As they joined AOMG this year, they plan to actively engage in the global music scene starting with this EP 'Gaps (간)'.
SIKKOO's new EP 'Gaps (간)' will be released on the 29th at 6 p.m. through various online music sites.
