The movie 'Opposition Party' has entered a rising trend in box office performance.
On the 23rd, the production team of the film 'Opposition Party' (directed by Hwang Byeong-guk, provided/distributed by Plus M Entertainment, produced by HYBE Media Corp) announced that it reclaimed the top spot in overall ticket sales and recorded a higher number of viewers in its second week than on the opening day.
'Opposition Party' is a crime action movie that unfolds the story of a broker, Lee Kang-soo (Kang Ha-neul), who designs the drug trade in South Korea; the prosecutor, Koo Kwan-hee (Yoo Hae-jin), who aims to rise higher; and the detective, Oh Sang-jae (Park Hae-jun), who is dedicated to eliminating drug crimes, as they come together with different objectives. Alongside this, 'Opposition Party' reclaimed the top position in overall ticket sales, enhancing its sensational box office trend. This occurred despite competition from upcoming films such as 'Minecraft Movie', 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters', and 'The Old Woman with the Knife', as it combines both entertainment value and artistic quality, riding a wave of enthusiastic word-of-mouth from audiences to reclaim the top position in advance ticket sales.
