Namsung duo Melomance attracted attention with concept photos that capture a sophisticated French mood.
Melomance (Kim Min-seok, Jung Dong-hwan) revealed the concept photos for their eighth mini-album 'Romance Express,' set to be released on the 29th, through their official SNS channels on the 21st and 22nd.
The first concept photo, released first, was themed around 'train travel,' which threads through the theme of this album. The two members showcased classic charm in bright pastel-toned shirts paired with jackets. The interior of the train, dominated by a deep green, added a sophisticated French mood with its antique lights and curtain decorations. In particular, the active use of various props such as newspapers and whiskey glasses heightened expectations for the stories within the album.
The second concept caught attention with a more romantic and cheerful mood. Set against a bedroom bathed in warm sunlight, the comfortable poses and relaxed expressions evoked the feelings of a spring day. The simple styling of a white shirt matched with solid-colored items further highlighted Melomance's pure charm.
This mini-album is a new release that comes 1 year and 11 months after the release of 'Brilliant Day' in May 2023, and it is expected to showcase a deeper emotional 'Melomance Pop' with direct participation in the lyrics and composition of all tracks. A total of 6 songs are included, featuring the title track 'Surprise of Any Day,' along with 'It's Okay, I Love You,' the instrumental track 'Blooming,' 'Petal,' 'Our Toast,' and 'Your Way.'
Following the release of the new album, Melomance will kick off their 2025 Melomance Nationwide Tour Concert 'Romance Station' from May 23 to 25 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. Starting in Seoul, they will visit 10 cities including Busan, Goyang, Ulsan, Suwon, Changwon, Seongnam, Daegu, Daejeon, and Gwangju to meet fans nationwide.
Meanwhile, Melomance's eighth mini-album 'Romance Express' will be released on the 29th at 6 p.m. through various music streaming sites.
