(Interview② continued) Niel announced the upcoming full group activities of Teen Top in celebration of their 15th debut anniversary.
Recently, an interview with Niel, who returned with his fourth solo mini-album 'SHE,' was held at a café in Gangnam District, Seoul.
Niel, who debuted in the music industry as Teen Top on July 10, 2010, will commemorate his 15th debut anniversary this July. He noted, "To be honest, it hasn't really hit me. New idols are coming out a lot. When I hear their ages, it really hits me. When we debuted, our seniors must have thought the same thing about us, and now it's really sinking in," he reflected. "I used to be the youngest wherever I went, but now I hear 'hyung' and 'oppa' from people, so I feel it a lot now."
When asked if there are plans for full group activities in celebration of their 15th anniversary, Niel said, "Our member Changjo will be discharged in May. Once he is out, there have been discussions since last year about gathering extensively to prepare for an album," and conveyed that "we will meet and talk about it."
In particular, Infinite and Highlight (Beast), who were active around the same time as Teen Top, are also actively engaging as a full group. Regarding this, Niel remarked, "Actually, this makes us strongly want to promote quickly as well. Since our older brothers are going ahead with their activities, it seems like we want to return to active engagements as quickly as possible, strong in our thoughts, and I believe it would be best to show the energetic colors unique to Teen Top as soon as possible."
He also mentioned that Yoo Jaeseok, who has regarded Teen Top as his 'favorite' group, is likely waiting the most for the news of their 15th anniversary full group activities, and expressed his gratitude by saying, "Thank you for loving us so much." (Continues with Interview④.)
