Solbi revealed that she has healed emotional wounds through painting.
In the episode aired on the 21st on Channel A's 'Best Friends Documentary - 4-Person Table' (hereafter 4-Person Table), moments were depicted where Solbi, who is active as both a singer and a painter, invited her close friends from Shinhwa, Lee Min-woo, Brian, and Kwon Hyuk-soo.
On this day, Solbi mentioned that she has always had talent since childhood, saying, "I've dreamed of being a celebrity since I was four. If you look at my school records, my future aspiration was always to become a celebrity. I wanted to do theater, but there was a membership fee. To earn that fee, I started working part-time in the first year of middle school. I even sold sweet rice cakes," she said.
Solbi later debuted as part of Typhoon. She recalled, "I received 5 million won as a contract fee from Typhoon. I gave all of that to my mother. From that time on, my mother was proud of me."
Despite achieving her desired dream, Solbi had to go through tough times, from fake video rumors to malicious comments. She said she was able to overcome her slump through painting. Solbi noted, "After I started painting, the malicious comments became zero for me. There was a comment mocked asking, 'Can you even draw an apple?' since I'm not a major in art. An apple is the entry-level piece in art. It's mockery. So, I decided to make apples into a work of art."
Listening to this, Lee Min-woo added, "While drawing, I received a lot of comfort like Solbi. Since I started painting from two years ago, I've developed a bond with Solbi." Solbi stated, "I always painted to heal. This painting is something I love. I want to show that I can express myself even without wounds."
