Former short track national team member Kim Dong-sung's wife In Min-jung revealed her struggles due to financial difficulties.
On the 22nd, In Min-jung posted a lengthy message on her social media, saying, "My husband and I have been living through many difficult and challenging years."
In Min-jung recalled, "As the date for the rent payment approached, I would feel my heart race while looking at my empty bank balance, and a very bright red seizure sticker would be brought to our house, sticking it in various places. It was my first experience with such a thing, and I was very scared."
She continued, "There's the pressure of demands for money from everywhere and legal documents arriving at my house. When I posted only pictures on Instagram, articles would say we were living well, which also led to more scrutiny, and I had started a YouTube channel with great determination but ended up stopping it inadvertently."
Moreover, she noted, "Going through various difficulties has made us both stronger, and we are relying on each other, supporting one another, and overcoming challenges together." She added that "ultimately, we are holding hands amicably and working hard at construction sites, joyfully solving one issue at a time," sharing optimistic updates about her husband Kim Dong-sung.
In Min-jung remarried Kim Dong-sung, a former short track athlete, by registering their marriage in May 2022.
Last year, In Min-jung disclosed photos with seizure stickers and apologized, saying, "I'm very sorry for not being able to provide 80.1 million won in child support." She explained, "The total child support provided so far is around 61 million won. An additional approximately 27.8 million won, including housing rent and car lease payments, was supported separately from the child support. All documents were submitted during the police investigation."
