The band Jannabi has predicted an unexpected beautiful synergy.
The band Jannabi released a teaser video through its official SNS channel on 21st, unveiling the title track and feature artist of their upcoming fourth studio album 'Sound of Music pt.1' set to be released on 28th.
The title track of this album is 'In the Name of Love!', featuring Karina from the group Aespa. The teaser video, depicting rose petals scattering across the night sky, exudes a dreamlike mood that seems to blur the boundaries between fantasy and reality. Additionally, the track copy stating, 'A smile that does not yield is our pride,' leaves a deep lingering impression, heightening expectations for the song's message.
'In the Name of Love!' is a song that combines Jannabi's signature sensibility with Karina's transparent yet solid vocals, attracting anticipation, and is expected to envelop listeners' emotions delicately with a mystical and warm mood.
Karina's participation came as a surprise gift to many music fans. The two artists, possessing entirely different musical worlds, are expected to melt into a single emotional line under the keyword 'love,' creating an unforeseen synergy.
The fourth studio album 'Sound of Music pt.1' consists of a total of eight tracks, including the title track 'In the Name of Love!'. Tracks such as 'Music,' 'FLASH,' 'I Will Die for You♥X3,' 'I Watched the Sunset Alone on the Rooftop,' 'Juno! Tell Me the Rainbow Coordinates!', 'All Boys and Girls 1: Birdman,' and 'All Boys and Girls 2: Noul' are introduced with unique artworks embodying distinct symbols and sentiments, building anticipation.
This album is filled with an experimental sound, characterized by Jannabi's 'sound collage' technique, which modernly reinterprets past nostalgia. Weaving a narrative of emotions, romance, fantasy, and reality, this album centers around the message that 'music is not fantasy, but reality,' prompting listeners to confront their emotions in this moment honestly.
Jannabi is poised to showcase the true essence of the band through this album, emphasizing their commitment to delivering an album where 'music itself serves as comfort.'
Meanwhile, ahead of the release of the fourth studio album on 28th, Jannabi will hold a solo concert 'All Boys and Girls 2025' on April 26th and 27th at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul. This performance is based on a theme that is organically connected to the fourth studio album, promising to be the first to open the door to Jannabi's unique musical world.
