On that day, producer Na Young-seok asked Kai, 'Have you met Kyung-soo?' and Kai replied, 'I met him. We all had dinner together not long ago.' When asked if he received any feedback on the new album, Kai opened up, saying, 'Kyung-soo is really funny; he keeps up with all my content.'
In response, producer Na said, 'Really? He seems like someone who doesn't care about worldly matters, yet he keeps up with that?' and Kai clarified, 'He always keeps up with my stuff. And he always gives feedback. I never asked him to provide feedback, but he does.'
He continued, 'This song just came out yesterday, so there is still no feedback. He evaluated the pre-release track, 'Adult Swim.' Suddenly, I got a call—video call. I think DIO was bored. He was very bored, so you know how the angle of the phone is; he showed me his chin,' and laughed as he recalled, 'When I asked what he was doing, he said he was scheduling something. Then he said, 'I watched yours.' He added, 'This one seemed okay; you danced well.'
At the same time, Kai said, 'However, once in the past, he gave a harsh evaluation. I don't remember exactly, but he said, 'Jong-in, you need to show more dancing.' Upon hearing this, Na Young-seok replied, 'He does fairly well, considering he only sang.'
Kai also noted, 'He never dances in his own songs. Yet he tells me, 'You need to show more dancing.' But there are sharp points. It's good when he gives feedback; there are moments of empathy. However, it would be nice if there was some additional feedback. But when he says this time that it's good, there's a thrill to it. After providing feedback like a critic on each album, he finally said, 'It's good.' I think I've become somewhat accustomed to it.'
'When asked how he hears feedback from other members, Kai said, 'Each member is a bit different. After seeing this, their review styles are different. DIO's style is the 'good, not good' type. He gives brief feedback and that's it.'
He also stated, 'Suho gives specific feedback for about 3 to 5 minutes after watching mine. Then he talks about his album for 40 minutes. Not long ago, I spoke with Suho. While talking, he shared his worries for about 5 minutes, then went on about his own story for 45 minutes. I found myself saying, 'Oh, hyung, I think I can go now.' That's kind of his style.'
Na Young-seok, who had filmed with Suho, commented, 'Suho was funny even back then. But how can he evaluate things while only listening to rock?' to which Kai added, 'It's rock and band,' eliciting laughter.
Meanwhile, Kai made his comeback with the fourth mini-album 'Wait On Me' on the 21st.
