The wedding of actress Kristen Stewart (35), known for films such as 'Twilight' and 'Spencer,' was special even in its attire.
Daily Mail reported on the 21st (local time) that Kristen Stewart shared vows with her wife, screenwriter Dylan Meyer (37), during a modest wedding held in the trendy Silver Lake area of Los Angeles.
The video shows Stewart at Casita del Campo, a Mexican restaurant, last Sunday, celebrating her wedding with Meyer in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The couple held their wedding under the umbrellas in the restaurant's outdoor dining area.
The newlyweds shared a kiss in front of friends and family and read their vows while using two charming 'Mrs.' mugs as decorations for the ceremony.
In particular, the couple chose unique wedding dresses. Dylan wore a sheer top and a silk-like soft taupe skirt, while Stewart paired a taupe dress with a white T-shirt. Both wore black socks and oxfords.
The couple reportedly met on a film set in 2013, but they didn't start dating until a few years later, in August 2019. In the summer of 2021, engagement rumors arose when they were spotted wearing rings on their left hands, and Stewart confirmed their engagement in an interview with Howard Stern in November of that year.
They received a marriage license in Los Angeles County on the 15th. The small wedding seems to perfectly align with Stewart's choice to avoid a flashy and luxurious ceremony.
The couple hopes to have children.
Meanwhile, the main filming of the comedy 'The Wrong Girl' they collaborated on began this February. This film marks Meyer's feature directorial debut, co-written with Stewart, and features actors Seth Rogen, Alia Shawkat, Lakeith Stanfield, and Kumail Nanjiani.
