Actress Kang Sung-yeon showcased her skills with homemade gimbap for her son's field trip.

Meanwhile, Kang Sung-yeon married pianist Kim Ga-on in 2012 and divorced in December 2023. She has two sons. She announced earlier this year that she moved, via her social media.
