Ban So-young posted an ultrasound photo of a baby's hand on her Instagram account on the 21st, along with a message that said, "hi, hello, I'm greeting you for the first time." A photo of her holding a card that reads, "Happy news for the visual couple. Congratulations. A wonderful world will unfold," along with a bouquet of flowers, is a bonus.
Ban So-young married director Kim Sung of KBS in 2021. The couple met through an acquaintance and, after dating for about four years, tied the knot, now expecting their first child after four years together. Director Kim Sung also expressed his joy on Instagram, writing, "Kanchoya, take after your mom. I love you, let's do our best."
Ban So-young made her debut in the entertainment industry as a model for a chocolate brand that only captures top stars in 2006. Since then, she has established herself as an actress, starting with KBS2's 'Iron Sam,' followed by 'The Princess's Man,' SBS's 'Happy Sisters,' and the film 'Midnight Runners.'
She broadened her spectrum by starring in the film 'The CMR' and playing the role of Eponine in the musical 'Les Misérables,' while also showcasing her presence in advertisements for various brands in beauty, telecommunications, home appliances, and beverages. In 2023, she captivated housewife viewers with 'Geum-iya Ok-iya.'
Director Kim Sung joined KBS's entertainment division in 2012 and directed 'Crisis Escape Number One,' 'Immortal Songs,' and '1 Night 2 Days Season 3.'
