Actor George Clooney (64) said he has never had a fight with his wife, international human rights lawyer Amal Clooney (47), during their marriage of over 10 years.
George Clooney confessed in a recent interview with Gail King on CBS Mornings that he has never had a conflict with Amal Clooney.
He said lightheartedly, "I remember having appeared here before and saying that I had never had a fight with my wife. It's still the same. I'm looking for something to fight about."
He continued, "I feel really lucky to have met such a wonderful woman. It's like hitting the jackpot. There isn't a day that I don't think I'm the luckiest person in the world. It's really great."
Earlier, in 2022, George Clooney emphasized on CBS Mornings that he has never had a fight with his wife. At that time, Clooney said that having a strong marriage with Amal Clooney was 'the easiest' thing. The couple has seven-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander.
In a 2020 interview with People magazine, George Clooney also said, "I feel very lucky in many ways to have met her. We have never had an argument. As you know, everyone went through tough times due to COVID-19, and many friendships were tested. But for us, it was really easy."
Meanwhile, in a 2018 interview with Vogue, Amal Clooney talked about what it felt like to fall in love with George Clooney: "It felt like the most natural thing in the world. I think it's the biggest factor in determining happiness in life and the most uncontrollable part. 'Am I going to meet this person?' I was 35 when I met him. I wasn't sure this would happen to me, and if it hadn't, I wouldn't have thought about marrying or starting a family, nor would I have felt excited."
The couple got engaged in April 2014 and received a marriage certificate in August 2014. They tied the knot on September 27 of that year at Ca'Farsetti in Italy.
