Actor Moon Yoo-gang is taking on a unique challenge.
Moon Yoo-gang grants a solo performance in 'White Rabbit Red Rabbit.'
The play 'White Rabbit Red Rabbit' was created by Iranian author Nassim Soleimanpour to evade censorship in his home country and has been translated into over 30 languages and performed more than 3,000 times. It is an unpredictable experimental work where a different actor takes the stage each day and the story unfolds in a single reading without rehearsal.
Moon Yoo-gang, who is participating in the play, noted, "I'm both fearful and worried about going on stage without rehearsal, but I have even greater excitement and anticipation. It is thrilling and exhilarating to share the moments we encounter for the first time with the audience on stage."
He added, "I will show you the most truthful form that only a first meeting can have. I hope this performance will be a short but enjoyable journey with the audience on stage."
Moon Yoo-gang debuted in the play 'Another Country' and has since been active across various media such as plays, musicals, films, and dramas, receiving much love. Recently, he captivated viewers as Boo-seong, the son of Hwang Ki-gil (played by Choi Dae-hoon), known as 'Mr. Hak' in the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' and he is also active in various works, including the film 'Lobby.'
Currently, Moon Yoo-gang, who is meeting the audience as Dorian Gray in the musical 'Dorian Gray,' is raising expectations about how he will continue to communicate in the solo performance 'White Rabbit Red Rabbit.'
Meanwhile, the 'White Rabbit Red Rabbit,' featuring a total of 33 actors including Moon Yoo-gang, will take the stage for the first time at 'Sejong S Theater' on April 30, and Moon Yoo-gang will perform on May 13, Tuesday, at 8 p.m.
