The group NCT WISH (NCT Wish, SME) has achieved the remarkable feat of becoming its first million-seller with its second mini-album 'poppop.'
NCT WISH's second mini-album 'poppop,' released on 14th, recorded 1,087,838 copies sold in the first week according to the Hanteo Chart announced today (21st), breaking its own highest records from pre-orders to first-week sales and achieving another career high.
With this, NCT WISH has risen to the ranks of million-sellers for the first time since their debut. Following the debut single 'WISH' released in March of last year, which sold 280,000 copies, the second single 'Songbird' sold 530,000 copies in July, and the first mini-album 'Steady' sold 790,000 copies in September, they have shown continuous growth, and with this second mini-album, they have achieved a significant milestone by surpassing sales of 1 million copies.
Additionally, NCT WISH has swept the daily and weekly number one spots on various album charts such as the Hanteo Chart, Hot Tracks, YES24, Aladin, and Circle Chart Retail Album, reaffirming the powerful presence of NCT WISH.
Previously, this album surpassed 1.21 million in pre-orders, achieved the number one spot on major domestic album charts, ranked second in the Melon HOT100 (within 30 days of release), ranked first in Japan's trending videos on YouTube and second in Korea's trending music on YouTube, ranked first in Japan's AWA real-time trending chart, and ranked third in China's QQ Music Trend Peak Chart and Rising Chart, as well as seventh in the new song chart, receiving much love from global fans.
NCT WISH will grant an appearance on KBS Cool FM's 'Lee Eun-ji's Music Plaza' starting at 12 p.m. today.
