A storyteller who is struggling with parental conflict and job change issues has appeared.
On the broadcast of KBS Joy "Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller" on the 21st, a storyteller who is distressed by parental conflict appeared.
That day, a 45-year-old insurance planner appeared. The storyteller said, "I have been living in my in-laws' house for 11 years since marriage. I worked as a bus driver for 10 years before changing to an insurance planner," adding, "I changed jobs without my father-in-law and mother-in-law knowing. I have to persuade them, but I'm worried about how to do that."
The storyteller said that before getting married, he worked with his father-in-law in a business, but as the economy worsened, he had to close the business and took out a loan due to accumulating debt, leading to the family living together. He noted that now six family members live together in one house.
The storyteller said, "Raising children has led to debt. I needed an urgent loan, so I quit being a bus driver and paid off that debt with my severance pay." The storyteller's father-in-law is doing day labor, and the mother-in-law is working part-time just to get by.
The storyteller said, "I brought up the job change during a meal. But my father-in-law responded, asking why a man should pursue insurance when there are many women around, telling me to continue as a bus driver."
The storyteller said, "I brought it up with the hope of receiving support, but I heard disappointing words," adding, "I was told in front of the children that I didn't have any savings, and things were thrown at me. I was so upset that I wanted to run away." The storyteller stated that he is experiencing parental conflict.
On that day, Lee Soo-geun and Seo Jang-hoon shared realistic concerns with the storyteller and offered sincere support. [Photo: KBS Joy 'Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller' broadcast capture]
