The band Jannabi presents music that blooms like fantasy in reality.
The band Jannabi is set to release its fourth studio album 'Sound of Music pt.1' on the 28th, unveiling artwork for each track.
The revealed tracklist artwork received attention for its visuals that condense the emotions and images of each song. "Music", "FLASH", "I Will Die For You♥X3", "I Saw the Sunset Alone on the Rooftop", "Juno! Tell Me the Rainbow Coordinates!", "All Boys and Girls 1: Birdman", and "All Boys and Girls 2: Rainbow" encompass a total of seven tracks, with artwork that embodies retro and kitschy sensibilities, adding an element of fun. Each piece also features unique symbols and brief copy for each track, highlighting Jannabi's distinctive sensibility in presentation.
With all seven song titles of the fourth studio album now revealed, the title track and featuring artist have yet to be announced, heightening anticipation. An artwork showing a single red rose floating in the middle of the universe, alongside the phrase 'Feat. ? of ?', stimulates the imagination of music fans. Amid various speculations regarding the featuring artist's identity, the synergy effect with Jannabi, the 'artisan of romance and lyricism,' is also generating expectations.
The fourth studio album 'Sound of Music pt.1' expands Jannabi's characteristic lyrical sound and showcases a new musical palette unique to Jannabi through the 'sound collage' technique that modernizes past nostalgia. Through this album, Jannabi weaves stories between emotion and romance, fantasy and reality, presenting songs close to current life under the message that 'music ≠ fantasy.'
Previously, Jannabi revealed that they worked on the album focusing on 'intuition, joy, and nostalgia,' and through this comeback, they intend to calmly question what music, blossoming not in fantasy but in reality, truly is.
Meanwhile, Jannabi will release 'Sound of Music pt.1' on the 28th at 6 p.m., opening a new chapter in their musical journey. Prior to this, they will hold the concert 'All Boys and Girls 2025' at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul on the 26th and 27th, aiming to resonate strongly with their listeners.
