Actor Kang Ha-neul was taken aback by the eel live-action scene in the film "Opposition Party."
The 'B Face-to-Face Interview' published on YouTube on the 18th attracted attention with an interview featuring the main stars of the film "Opposition Party" (Director Hwang Byung-kook, provided/distributed by Plus M Entertainment, produced by HYBE Media Corp), Kang Ha-neul, Yoo Hae-jin, and Park Hae-joon, after a photoshoot.
The film "Opposition Party," in which they grant, centers on broker Lee Kang-soo (Kang Ha-neul) who designs the drug scene in South Korea, prosecutor Gu Kwan-hee (Yoo Hae-jin) who seeks to rise to a higher position, and detective Oh Sang-jae (Park Hae-joon) who is all in to eradicate drug crime, unfolding as they weave together with different objectives. It was released on the 16th and is meeting audiences.
Among them, Yoo Hae-jin noted, "It has a speedy development," while Kang Ha-neul asserted, "There are unexpected twists" regarding the charm of the work. In particular, Yoo Hae-jin piqued curiosity by selecting a question about 'dangerous action.' In response, Kang Ha-neul humbly replied, "The staff are all veterans, so there was no chance for the actors to get hurt."
Even Kang Ha-neul felt tense about the eel live-action action scene that appears in the latter half of the film. Yoo Hae-jin was also surprised about the 'eel action,' saying, "As I was reading the script, I thought, 'How are they going to shoot this?'" In response, Kang Ha-neul laughed and said, "I felt the same way. I thought, 'Is this possible?' but ultimately, we filmed it. They shot it just as it was written in the script," revealing that he took a shower four times on the day of that scene's filming.
