The group For The More and singer-songwriter Kim Pil-seon will present new songs in a collaboration project with the 4DX car-chasing action film 'Drive in Taipei,' produced by Luc Besson's team.
The music production company Donuts Culture announced that For The More's 'Drive or Die,' which will be released as part of the collaboration project, will come out today at 6 p.m., and Kim Pil-seon's 'Wish' will be released on the 30th at 6 p.m.
The new work 'Drive in Taipei,' produced by the team behind the 'Taken' and 'Transporter' series, is a car-chasing action film featuring Drug Enforcement Agency agent John Roller (Luke Evans) and Taiwan's top racer Joy (Kyeon Mi-ri), who encounter each other by fate in Taipei after 15 years. The film creates intense car-chasing scenes through urban settings and captivates domestic fans with its 'real action' and the synergy of the actors' 'emotional action.'
A special music collaboration adds to the appeal. The project song 'Drive or Die,' released on the 20th, features a powerful rock band sound that evokes the desire for speed, maximizing the feeling of velocity with exhilarating distorted guitar sounds. The four-member male virtual idol group For The More, consisting of Jo Byeol-ha, Su Hyang, Lee Seon, and Kim Nidi, enhances the immersion of the song with their straightforward vocals. The thrilling sound of 'Drive or Die' reminds listeners of the exhilarating racing scenes in the film, amplifying the synergy.
The second participant is emotional singer-songwriter Kim Pil-seon. Debuting with the single album 'Air Conditioner' in 2018, Kim Pil-seon has earned the affection of listeners through his attractive tone and vocals, releasing songs such as 'Mama,' 'Spring Day,' 'Shall We Go to Sapporo,' 'Little Star,' and 'Some Kinds of End.' In this collaboration, the Britpop genre song 'Wish,' which he participated in, evokes a warm solitude with lyrical lyrics and a soothing melody, complemented by Kim Pil-seon's distinctive emotional voice. The song harmonizes with Joy's drama as she reunites with her long-lost love in the film, heightening anticipation.
