Singer Kim Jong-min revealed a romantic proposal to his fiancée.
On the afternoon of the 20th, a press conference for the wedding of singer Koyote's Kim Jong-min was held at the Emerald Hall of the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. Considering his non-celebrity fiancée, he appeared alone at the photo wall and had a brief interview.
Kim Jong-min, when asked about the proposal, said, "They say it's really a once-in-a-lifetime moment that will be remembered forever. I tried my best to make it touching," adding, "My brother-in-law used to run an events company. I went to that events company, planned everything one by one, rented out a restaurant, set up the lights, and had a really wonderful proposal. Even while watching, I was touched, thinking, 'Is it really this wonderful?'"
Regarding plans for children, he said, "I'm considering having about two. It doesn't matter if it's a daughter or a son, or both. For now, I'm thinking about two." He continued, "I hope that when my child has their first birthday, they will be able to hold a pencil. That's what I always hope for. I wish my child would be good at studying. If they decide to become a celebrity, I will support them unconditionally. I may not be able to provide much help, but I will cheer them on," he said with a smile.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-min will hold a private wedding ceremony today at 6 p.m. at the Shilla Hotel's Emerald Hall with his 11-year-younger fiancée "Hiyung" (stage name).
Kim Jong-min's wedding will be held in two parts, with Yoo Jae-suk hosting the first part and KBS2 Entertainment's "1 Night 2 Days" colleagues Mun Se-yoon and Cho Sae-ho hosting the second part. Lee Jeok and Lyn will perform the congratulatory songs, and the honeymoon destination is France.
