The reform celebrating the 30th anniversary of the launch of 'Sokpuli Show Dongchimi' delivered an emotional experience along with a luxurious lineup.
On the 19th, MBN's 'Sokpuli Show Dongchimi' (hereafter 'Dongchimi') introduced new MCs Kim Yong-man, Lee Hyun, and Enok after the reform for its 30th anniversary. Lee Hyun conveyed, "There was an uproar around me. They said I must have joined a big company. I promise to be an MC that empathizes with and connects with the viewers."
Actor Kim Jung-min made a comeback after a long time. Kim Jung-min, who had gone through difficult times including a 1 billion won lawsuit with her ex-boyfriend and the ensuing controversy, still maintained her sense for broadcasting.
He expressed about "whether one can sever ties between parents and children," stating, "I experienced something similar. My father was not someone who created a healthy family. Whenever he drank, he would become a terrifying figure when the door opened. I wrote a letter to the judge," and added, "Since it wasn't an amicable divorce, children with the capacity to express their opinions had to voice their thoughts. This was during my late elementary school years. I ended up living with my mother and did not contact my biological father."
Kim Jung-min, who stated that she only went to the funeral home after hearing the news of her father's passing, noted that the funeral was nearly over and she would never be able to see her father's last appearance. She carefully mentioned, "Even if I sever ties with my parents, it seems one cannot completely cut the connection."
Lee Hong-ryeol remarked, "I believe that the bond between parents and children cannot be severed even in death," adding, "My mother worked in sewing while my father was engaged in gas welding. Although Lee Hong-ryeol was understanding towards the family situations of Kim Hyun-sook and Kim Jung-min, he stated, "My mother once told me, 'Hong-ryeol, there are many orphans who lost their parents at a young age,' and two years ago, that statement suddenly came to mind. Meanwhile, Kim Jung-min provided her stance on the previous controversy. She faced a lawsuit claiming she received goods worth 1 billion won from her ex-boyfriend. Although there was no problem for her, the legal dispute ended, but her image changed. Kim Jung-min noted, "I was a victim, but there were sensational expressions in the reports that I could not even bring myself to speak. I felt as if I was sinking deeper and deeper into a mire. That's why I also took a break from work."
He rather shed tears, saying he was comforted while crying in the arms of his mother, who had collapsed due to a stroke at that time. Furthermore, Kim Jung-min expressed, "What I am thankful for is that my new siblings and father have become closer than before.
