Actress Kim Jeong-min from 'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi' shed tears regarding the transfer controversy.
The MBN 'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi' (hereinafter 'Dongchimi'), aired on the 19th, celebrated its 30th anniversary with a new MC and a luxurious lineup.
New MC Kim Yong-man said, 'Dongchimi is MBN's flagship long-running program that started in 2012 and has been around for 13 years. We have become the new MCs.'

The guests included Kim Young-ok, Lee Hong-ryeol, pop columnist Kim Tae-hoon, psychiatrist Lee Kwang-min, actress Kim Hyun-sook, and actress Kim Jeong-min, who made a comeback after a long time. Kim Young-ok said, 'I could say I've been waiting a long time to appear on "Dongchimi." I gladly accepted the opportunity when it came.' Actress Kim Hyun-sook remarked, 'As those who know me might be aware, I got married, had a child, and returned. I came out wanting to learn more about life. I would like to learn a lot from Teacher Kim Young-ok.'
Lee Hong-ryeol commented, 'This is my first time here. I was told I just had to answer questions, so I came without hesitation,' showing a relaxed demeanor.
'Dongchimi' had a time for discussion on the topic: 'Can you sever ties if there is conflict between parents and children?' Kim Hyun-sook, who trembled in fear under a violent father during her childhood, said life got better after her mother's divorce.
Kim Hyun-sook expressed, 'At that time, my mother decided to divorce. She raised three children on her own. Looking back, I think it was wise. Seeing parents fight in front of the children increases anxiety. Childhood trauma lasts a lifetime,' adding, 'That's why it's better to divorce quickly than to endure an unhappy marriage.'
In response, Kim Jeong-min said, 'I have known Kim Hyun-sook for a long time. But we don't talk about these things in private, so I thought it was a similar family history.' He continued, 'I'm similar. My father was not someone who created a healthy family. When he drank, he would become a terrifying father as soon as he opened the front door. I wrote a letter to the judge,' revealing his family conflicts. It is said that until he heard about his father's passing, Kim Jeong-min lived estranged from his father. Nevertheless, he remarked, 'Even if I cut off ties with my parents, I feel like I cannot sever the bond completely.'
Meanwhile, Kim Jeong-min tearfully reflected on a lawsuit involving a controversial ex-boyfriend from 2017, saying, 'I am a victim, but shocking expressions that I couldn't even mention ended up in articles. I felt like I was continuously sinking into a swamp. Because of that, I had to take a break from work.' Although the legal dispute ended without issues, he was already unable to work.
Additionally, Kim Jeong-min's mother suffered a cerebral infarction. He recounted, 'I thought my mom was sleeping, and while I was hugging her, it felt awkward. I had a thousand thoughts running through my head. I felt embarrassed showing her this side of me, and I was crying because I couldn't take care of her in the hospital, and she wiped my tears thinking I was asleep.' He tears up, saying, 'If only those major incidents had come separately.'
'Life is unpredictable,' they say. Kim Jeong-min also had good things happen. This could be a moment that shows his positive and bright heart. After swallowing his tears, Kim Jeong-min said, 'I am grateful for my new siblings and my dad, who have become closer than before.
