Today (the 20th), on the show "Boss's ears," Lee Soon-sil meets with Unification kid "Dani," the son of defector actress Kim Ah-ra. During this process, Lee Soon-sil makes a pig's trotters dish as a postpartum health food, revealing, "In North Korea, due to a lack of food, mothers eat their nutritionally rich placentas after giving birth. I also ate my placenta," shocking everyone. In response, Kim Sook exclaims, "What? They eat their placentas?" in disbelief.
Soon after, while tightly hugging Dani, Lee Soon-sil shows a deeply emotional expression that captivates everyone's attention. She calmly explains that the reason she could only give gifts traditionally suited for girls, such as dolls and clothes, despite Dani being a boy, is because "I think I was reminded a lot of my own child," and then confesses, "It's the first time I've held a baby in 15 years after losing my 3-year-old daughter to human trafficking," surprising everyone.
Lee Soon-sil later shares, "I couldn't hold another baby due to the guilt of not having held my child properly for a long time. Just being able to have a baby next to me is a blessing," revealing the special story that required her to muster great courage to meet Dani, stirring up tears. She adds, "Right now, my image of my daughter is frozen at age 3. If she were alive now, she would be 20 years old," and shares, "When I was homeless, my 3-year-old daughter begged in my place to feed me. My daughter is guilty only of being born in North Korea," shedding tears from the perspective of a mother who lost her child, moving everyone.
In response, Boss Eom Ji-in and Lee Soon-sil empathize with the heart of a mother who lost a child as they weep together. The special story of Lee Soon-sil and Unification kid "Dani" will be unveiled in the main broadcast of "Boss's ears."
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV "Boss's ears are donkey ears" airs every Sunday at 4:40 p.m.
