Actor Kim Jung-min of 'Sokpulisho Dongchimi' revealed that he faced difficult times in 2017.
On the 19th, during the broadcast of MBN's 'Sokpulisho Dongchimi' (hereafter 'Dongchimi'), actor Kim Jung-min returned after 8 years. While discussing his estrangement from family, Kim Jong-min said, "We are a family of six brought together by my mother's remarriage. The two younger brothers are from my father's side, and my younger sister and I are from my mother's side. We became independent and lived well, but in 2017, I went through hard times. It has already been 8 years," he cautiously opened up.
Kim Jung-min, who was embroiled in a 1 billion won lawsuit due to threats from a boyfriend who was older at the time, had to step away from his thriving career in entertainment as he got caught up in the 'flower snake' controversy.
Kim Jung-min said, "At that time, my mother suffered a stroke and was hospitalized for a year. I couldn't take care of my sick mother, and she couldn't take care of her sick daughter either. Since I couldn't go outside, I would secretly go to the hospital at night to hold my mother and sleep." He shed tears while speaking.
Yet, he expressed, "I am grateful that my newly acquired younger siblings and my father became closer than before. Although my younger brothers don't say much, their words, 'Sister, the hate comments are all trash. It will end soon,' provide me with great comfort." He conveyed his gratitude towards his family.
