Singer Kim Jong-min has become the first to marry among the members of Koyote, expressing hope that "Shin-ji and Baek-ga will also have good news."
On the afternoon of the 20th, a press conference was held for singer Koyote Kim Jong-min's wedding at the Emerald Hall in Shinla Hotel, Jung-gu, Seoul. Considering his non-celebrity fiancée, he appeared alone at the photo wall and had a brief interview.
Regarding his feelings ahead of the wedding, he said, "I feel very excited and nervous, with a strange emotion," adding, "Since it's my first time, I'm very excited and I also have an expectation that there might be another life ahead."
When asked about the reaction of colleagues when he said he was getting married, Kim Jong-min noted, "Those who are married were very happy and congratulated me a lot, while my peers or older friends congratulated me with their words but didn't seem to be smiling. (laughs) They seemed a bit envious. There were reactions like, 'You're going before me?'"
In particular, referring to his Koyote members, he said, "I think Shin-ji and Baek-ga received the nuance that 'we must be next' after seeing me go first. If I get married today, I expect that Shin-ji and Baek-ga will soon have good news too," raising curiosity about who the second bridegroom will be.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-min will hold a private wedding ceremony at 6 p.m. at Shinla Hotel's Emerald Hall with his fiancée 'Hiyoung' (stage name), who is 11 years younger.
Kim Jong-min's wedding will be divided into two parts, with Yoo Jae-seok as the host for the first part and fellow cast members Moon Se-yoon and Cho Sae-ho from KBS2's variety show '1 Night 2 Days' hosting the second part. The celebratory songs will be sung by Lee Jeok and Lyn, and the honeymoon destination is France.
