The KBS2 music talk show 'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile,' aired on the 18th, featured singer Lee Seung-chul, DinDin, CHEEZE, and musical actors Cha Ji-yeon and Park Eun-tae, adding a special touch to viewers' Friday nights.
The first guest was Lee Seung-chul, 'the emperor of live performance,' who has been in the industry for 40 years, showcasing the stage of 'My Love.' Lee Seung-chul mentioned that Park Bo-gum had appeared in the past 'I Love You' music video and later provided piano support on the stage of 'Yu Hee-yeol's Sketchbook,' humorously noting, "Back then, Park Bo-gum's 'Let's Go See the Stars' went viral while my song failed." Known for his 'unreserved performances,' Lee Seung-chul revealed, "I usually sing about 30 songs without any guests during performances. The more songs I sing, the better the response," discussing his philosophy on performances. DinDin shared, "I was worried that a two-shot with Park Bo-gum would help promote the new song, but he was so considerate that it had the effect of making me look good as well." Park Bo-gum recalled meeting DinDin when he appeared on 'Music Bank' and brought laughter recalling the moment. DinDin reminisced, "I couldn't lift my head until I got to the waiting room because so many idols were coming out on 'Music Bank'" which brought more laughter.
Although DinDin has shone in entertainment, he surprised everyone by revealing he has released about 125 songs to date. He noted that the lyrics of most of his love songs are quite silly and shared that, "The recent six songs were about one person's story, and that person contacted me saying, 'Stop it already,'" provoking a bit of sympathy. Additionally, DinDin proposed a new joint stage mentioning the stage 'In My Heart' featuring Park Bo-gum and Taeyang, saying, "I came here today to do this. I aim to leave it as a keepsake," sharing his inner thoughts and generating laughter. DinDin delivered a pleasant rendition of the song to Park Bo-gum's piano accompaniment.
Musical legends Cha Ji-yeon and Park Eun-tae captivated the venue with a powerful performance of 'Just One Moment.' The first musical actors to visit 'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile,' Cha Ji-yeon and Park Eun-tae formed a common bond with Park Bo-gum, as they all have musical backgrounds, creating a more relaxed atmosphere. Park Eun-tae revealed he had attended the musical 'Let Me Fly,' in which Park Bo-gum starred, expressing, "I went with the thought of 'Let's see how well he does,' but I was truly moved," sharing heartfelt impressions.
Cha Ji-yeon presented an impromptu highlight from 'Simcheongga.' Park Bo-gum shed tears from the heart-stirring voice and immersive acting, struggling to find words even after the performance ended, as if still feeling the aftereffects. Park Eun-tae also sang 'Aria II: Thus, O Love' and 'Open Your Eyes' accompanying Park Bo-gum's piano, delivering a majestic and dramatic performance that evoked admiration.
The final guest, singer-songwriter CHEEZE, graced the stage with 'Madeleine Love,' a performance fitting for spring. CHEEZE surprised the audience by participating in the OSTs of popular dramas such as 'Boyfriend,' 'Suspicious Partner,' 'Temperature of Love,' 'Start-Up,' and 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.' Having been active in teams for about 14 years, CHEEZE showcased her representative songs often used in wedding videos in an a cappella live performance. Additionally, when Park Bo-gum asked about her singing techniques, she humorously shared unique and unexpected vocal tips.
CHEEZE announced she will release her second regular album in ten years and performed the title track 'It Turned Out This Way' live. She concluded by showcasing the album track 'Home Date,' delivering CHEEZE's soft and gentle emotions to the viewers.
