Singer and actor Kim Yoon-ji (ns Yoon-ji) shared her current efforts in early English education for her daughter.
On the 17th, a video titled "A chaotic family trip to Sokcho" was uploaded to the 'ns Yoon-ji' YouTube channel.
That day, Kim Yoon-ji went on a family trip to Sokcho with her husband, daughter Ella (Hee-seo), in-laws Lee Sang-hae and Kim Young-im, and her mother. He expressed his excitement about the Sokcho beach, saying, "Hee-seo's first beach."
Upon arriving at the accommodation, Kim Yoon-ji looked at her smiling daughter and worried, "This is Hee-seo's first portable bed that I've brought. I wonder if she'll sleep well here tonight."
He then said, "The book that Hee-seo will read before bed tonight is Baby Animals, A is for Apple," taking out the English vocabulary book. He added, "These are new books for tonight," and talked to her in English. He also tried to communicate with his daughter in English, continuously saying, "Hello baby."
As night fell, Kim Yoon-ji read the English vocabulary book to his daughter along with her husband to help her fall asleep. He occasionally said, "Hee-seo, open it," or made jokes in English.
The next morning, Kim Yoon-ji said, "Due to Choi Ella's condition, only my father-in-law and husband came to breakfast, while the mothers are taking care of the baby," and wrapped up the family trip.
Meanwhile, Kim Yoon-ji is known to be a Korean-American holding U.S. citizenship. She married the son of Lee Sang-hae and Kim Young-im in 2021, and welcomed her daughter Ella (Hee-seo) last July. Specifically, she recently posted a parenting vlog and revealed her early English education efforts. In the video, she read English storybooks to her daughter with her husband or consistently used English words and short sentences in front of her daughter. She explained, "I am exposing her to English words to help her get accustomed to them."
