IU reminisced about her collaboration with actress Yeom Hye-ran.
On the 18th, a video titled "IU, the story I tell for the first time" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Baek Eun-ha's Giving and Receiving'.
In the released video, IU appeared as a guest and shared stories about actress Yeom Hye-ran, with whom she collaborated recently in the Netflix series "When Life Gives You Tangerines."
IU confessed, "There were exactly two scenes with me. But I really liked Yeom Hye-ran, as a fan, even in my ordinary life, so I wanted to wander around. We acted in different eras, but I even had a chance to just observe."
She continued, "But she was very quiet. She didn't say much. Even on set, when we were filming together, she hardly spoke a word, which was really nice. As a fan, everything might have looked better to me, but I thought, 'She's so cool.' However, when it was time for action, she instantly transformed."
Regarding a particular dream scene, she recalled, "When I see her, tears can't help but well up. From the moment she opens the door and speaks, tears come to my eyes. But when she says, 'The lady next door bought a spiral,' I'm like, 'What?' It makes me feel like, 'My tears are sucked back in.' It's written like that, but it truly gets 'sucked' back in. It feels both fantastical and sad, yet funny; she shows it all."
In addition, IU said, "I really like her. But I never got to say that I like her. I never imagined I would be captured so quickly in the same frame as her. It was so short that it was a pity," adding, "Just the moment she appears, tears build up. The scene didn't say my tears would flow, but they just did."
