Actor Kim Dong-hyuk is expected to play a loyal inner palace guard in "Haunted Palace."
Kim Dong-hyuk's agency, Big Picture Entertainment, noted on the 18th (today) that "Kim Dong-hyuk will appear in the SBS new Friday-Saturday drama 'Haunted Palace' as the inner palace guard Kim Geun-ho, who protects King Lee Jeong (played by Kim Ji-hoon)."
"Haunted Palace" (directed by Yoon Seong-sik and Kim Ji-yeon, written by Yoon Soo-jung, produced by Studio S and Iwool Media) is a body-snatching fantasy rom-com where the shaman Yeori, who refuses her fate, faces off against an eight-legged ghost filled with resentment against the royal family, trapped in the body of Yeori's first love, Yoon Gap.
Kim Dong-hyuk plays the role of Kim Geun-ho, who serves the righteous king. Kim Geun-ho is depicted as a character with unwavering loyalty and exceptional martial arts skills. Despite being from a lowly background, he became an inner palace guard thanks to the king Lee Jeong, who does not discriminate against his status.
