The styling stills capturing the mysterious and glamorous atmosphere of 'Sharon,' who exorcises evil forces in the film 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters,' have been released.
'Holy Night: Demon Hunters' (directed by Lim Dae-hee, provided/distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Big Punch Pictures Nova Film, abbreviated as 'Holy Night') is an occult action film where the 'Holy Night' team, led by the dark problem solver team member Bau (Ma Dong-seok), Sharon (Seo-hyun), and Kim-gun (Lee Da-wit), combats forces of evil in a city thrown into chaos by a group that worships evil.
The released stills show the unique atmosphere of Seo-hyun as Sharon, a powerful exorcist capable of sensing and repelling any demon. The intense colors of the clothing, hair, makeup, accessories, and nails, along with the strange patterns and designs of the costumes, immediately capture the viewer's attention. Costume supervisor Nam Ji-soo noted that to create a mystical visual that blends the perspectives of the Tongyang and the West due to the character's nature, they carefully considered the overall style, including costumes and hair.
To reflect her mystical abilities in the costumes, she explained the details by saying, "I used a lot of purple and cold blue tones, mainly using dressy fabrics." Since the film features the coexistence of Eastern and Western perspectives, unique Korean knot decorations were added as accents to the costumes. The hair and makeup were also a delicate finish that completed 'Sharon's' style. Her hair was emphasized with a voluminous perm, and when exorcising, a white hair piece was added to enhance a mysterious yet strong feel. When facing a more powerful entity, the white-toned hair piece was extended, maximizing the transformation and tension reminiscent of a Western witch. The extravagant and diverse styling, not missing even the smallest details from head to toe, encompassed Seo-hyun, forming an overwhelming character.
Those who can appreciate the graceful styling perfectly portrayed by Seo-hyun as the exorcist 'Sharon' can see the movie 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters' hitting theaters on April 30.
