Son Dam-bi married former national speed skating representative Lee Gyu-hyeok on May 13, 2022, at a hotel in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The two, who met on SBS's 'Kiss and Cry' in 2011 and broke up after a year of dating, reunited in December 2021, almost ten years later, and got married about six months later.
After the wedding, Son Dam-bi revealed for the first time that she began in vitro fertilization on her YouTube channel last June. After experiencing various hardships, Son Dam-bi announced her pregnancy success in September of the same year and gave birth to her first daughter at a hospital in Seoul on the 11th.
According to Son Dam-bi's agency, Blitzway Entertainment, Son Dam-bi gave birth to her daughter that afternoon. Both the mother and child are healthy and are currently resting with family.
