Singer Kim Jeong-yeon transformed into Seong Chun-hyang.
In the episode aired on the 16th of KBS1's "Our House Golden Calf" (hereinafter referred to as "Golden Calf"), Kim Jeong-yeon and Jeong Beom-kyun were seen visiting Woncheon Village in Sannae-myeon, Namwon City, Jeollabuk-do. Kim Jeong-yeon, who visited the traditional music city of Namwon, appeared as Seong Chun-hyang, beautifully dressed in a yellow jeogori and red skirt, while Jeong Beom-kyun followed behind as Hyangdan, bringing laughter to viewers right from their entrance.
In particular, Kim Jeong-yeon showcased her character by singing the first line of "Love Song," a pansori from the tale of Chunhyang, which is "Come here, let's play" as "Come here, 'Golden Calf'". Her voice, which stood out even in the short melody, reflected her undisguised prowess as a singer.
Jeong Beom-kyun repeatedly called Kim Jeong-yeon "My Lady," provoking her. Kim Jeong-yeon pointed out Jeong Beom-kyun, saying, "I haven't even gotten married yet, so what is 'My Lady'?" and added, "I have been waiting for my Lord for 39 years. I met him when I was 16, and time has flown by, but he will come someday," displaying her pure and innocent demeanor. In response to Kim Jeong-yeon, Jeong Beom-kyun remarked, "If you collect five golden calves, you can meet Im Dong-ryong," which led them to set out in search of the golden calves.
After visiting all five items of emotional artifacts in Woncheon Village, when Kim Jeong-yeon looked around and asked, "But where is Im Dong-ryong?" Jeong Beom-kyun, after a brief pause, took off Hyangdan's wig and answered, "Here I am. I am Dong-ryong," bringing laughter to the viewers until the end. Kim Jeong-yeon lamented, "It seems I have failed the secret royal inspector exam for 39 years."
Meanwhile, after showcasing her singing skills once again with "Love Song," Kim Jeong-yeon continues her active engagement with her recent ballad "After Parting (愛)."
