Yong-cheol created some distance between Hyun-sook and Young-sook.
On the 16th episode of SBS entertainment show 'I Am Solo' (hereinafter 'I Am Solo'), Hyun-sook, who had taken a step back for Young-sook, was filled with displeasure. Young-sook had many regrets since she did not form a love line throughout the show.
Hyun-sook suggested to Young-sook, "Tell Yong-cheol. Yong-cheol has a completely open heart. If I use the super date pass with Yong-cheol, wouldn't it be fair for Yong-cheol to use the super date pass with Young-sook?"
This sparked a conversation between Hyun-sook, Young-sook, and Yong-cheol. Young-sook directly encouraged Yong-cheol, saying, "Right now, both Hyun-sook and Yong-cheol have a super date pass. However, I want to talk to Yong-cheol. It would be great if Yong-cheol could consider me as well." Yong-cheol responded, "Still, it's nice to get the super date pass," adding, "Thank you for making the proposal, and I will really consider it."
Young-sook asserted, "I really want to have a proper meal at a restaurant," which impressed Defconn, who noted, "When a woman says something like that, it means she has really let go of everything." Yong-cheol replied, "It's not easy for women to do that. She really showed courage. I don't know. On a date, feelings of attraction might arise. I am really considering it, Young-sook."
However, a tension arose between Hyun-sook and Young-sook over setting the date time. Young-sook asked, "Can't we go out at night?" Yong-cheol replied, "I need to use you a bit. Since I suggested going on a date at night, the plan needs to be changed." Lee Yi-kyung remarked, "This feels strange. It's like watching someone cheat on a partner," observing the unusual situation.
Yong-cheol told Hyun-sook, "Young-sook said she wants to drink, and if it's not a bother, could you ask her?" However, Hyun-sook firmly replied, "I don't want to concede that much." She expressed to Mi-kyung, "We are in a battle over the timing of the date. Young-sook wants to go for dinner after having a drink. But if I concede that, I would look foolish."
Thus, Yong-cheol went on a date with Young-sook. After seeing Young-sook's bright, cheerful, and proactive demeanor, Yong-cheol commented, "She is the type of woman I like, someone with a bright personality. I had no feelings of attraction whatsoever, but after just 2 to 3 hours, my interest grew."
Yong-cheol valued the importance of physical touch, such as holding hands. Despite it being their first date, Young-sook readily took his hand. Later, Yong-cheol also went on a date with Hyun-sook but realized that they had different views on significant matters, such as marriage. Yong-cheol was focused on someone important right now, while Hyun-sook was considering various practical aspects. As the atmosphere grew cold, Yong-cheol suggested to Hyun-sook that they hold hands as well.
Hyun-sook said, "I felt uncomfortable. I don't understand why you want to hold hands when we are not even in a romantic relationship. I've lost interest in the final selection," which made her cold toward Yong-cheol. Young-sook offered, "If you have any dissatisfaction with Hyun-sook, come to me," showing her proactive attitude.
