In 'Jun Hyun-moo Project 2,' Jun Hyun-moo and Kim Dae-ho showcase a unique chemistry while bickering among freelancers.
The 26th episode of the real street food documentary 'Jun Hyun-moo Project 2' (co-produced by MBN and Channel S) airs at 9:10 p.m. on the 18th (Friday), featuring Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) visiting 'Taste City' Gwangju, where a spicy food competition unfolds between Kim Dae-ho, who joins as a 'food friend,' and Jun Hyun-moo.
That day, Jun Hyun-moo declared the start of a spicy food expedition, saying, "I couldn't challenge this food due to (spicy coward) Kwak Tube's concerns." Meanwhile, Kwak Tube expressed, "I really can't do this," looking distressed, while Kim Dae-ho revealed, "There are no spicy ramen in our country," showcasing intense pride in spicy food and boosting Jun Hyun-moo's morale.
Immediately after, the three arrive at a pork stew restaurant known as 'MZ Holy Land of Spicy Pride,' which has a 30-year tradition, with Kim Dae-ho spearheading the recruitment efforts. Upon seeing Kim Dae-ho, the owner exclaimed, "Oh my! Isn't that Lee Dae-ho!" referencing a baseball player, causing laughter. After a brief moment of surprise, Kim Dae-ho, who successfully recruited, immediately sat down and recalled, "Whenever I eat spicy food, I think of my ex-girlfriend who loved spicy food," offering a candid account of his past romance.
Moments later, having finally tasted the bright red pork stew, Jun Hyun-moo and Kim Dae-ho exclaimed, "We came to Gwangju to eat this," and high-fived. In a surprising turn, Kim Dae-ho claimed, "I want to make Gwangju my third home." Amid the joyous atmosphere, Jun Hyun-moo suddenly broached cautiously, "I feel a bit disappointed in Dae-ho," eliciting an 'eye expansion' reaction from Kim Dae-ho. Additionally, as Jun Hyun-moo spoke, Kim Dae-ho noted, "I've heard that freelancers are in a competition for their rice bowls," creating intrigue about what was being exchanged between the amicable duo.
Meanwhile, Jun Hyun-moo added, "What struck me about Kim Dae-ho was…" as he shared insights about his declaration as a freelancer. In response, Kim Dae-ho openly shared the reasons behind his own freelancer declaration and hidden stories related to his agency contract, adding, "I should have met once more," while wiping the area around his eyes with tissue, capturing attention.
Amid high expectations regarding what 'hot freelancer' Kim Dae-ho's hidden story might be, the identities of the Gwangju eateries that the three explored will also be revealed in the 26th episode of MBN and Channel S 'Jun Hyun-moo Project,' airing at 9:10 p.m. on the 18th (Friday).
