The bold imagination of Noh Jung-ui from 'Crushology 101' has become another point of interest.
In the first broadcast of the MBC weekend drama 'Crushology 101' (written by Seong So-eun and Lee Seul, directed by Kim Ji-hoon) last week, Bunny (played by Noh Jung-ui) captured attention by effortlessly completing a romance novel while watching her brothers perfectly satisfy her aesthetic sense.
Bunny encountered Cha Ji-won (played by Jo Jun-young), a student returning to school, while asking for the location of the library on her way to submit her leave of absence. After feeling a moment of difficulty, seeing the halo shining on Cha Ji-won, Bunny instantly envisioned a charming young man performing in a green forest. Moreover, the detailed setting of equating Cha Ji-won, whose face was filled with stories, to 'a boyfriend picking flowers with sad eyes to visit his sick girlfriend' brought laughter.
Next, the first time Bunny saw Hwang Jae-yeol (played by Lee Chae-min), he was like a human sports drink. Hwang Jae-yeol in Bunny's imagination was so refreshing that even in the scorching heat of midsummer, it felt like her thirst would be quenched without drinking.
On the other hand, the sculptor Jo Ah-rang (played by Kim Hyun-jin), who had been a long-time fan, was Bunny's destined man. This is because the title of the piece they saw together at the exhibition where Bunny and Jo Ah-rang first met was 'Destiny.' Bunny recalled Jo Ah-rang proposing to her in front of the 'Destiny' artwork, but that romantic imagination shattered when Hwang Jae-yeol, who had become a loan shark, appeared.
In this way, Bunny's imaginary world strikingly reflects reality, adding even more intrigue. Particularly, the sophistication of Hwang Jae-yeol, who transitioned from a human sports drink to a loan shark after entering a debt relationship with Bunny, raises curiosity about the next chapter Bunny will write.
Above all, the fact that the female protagonist in her imagination is Bunny allows us to catch a glimpse of her secret heart, raising expectations for the delightful and thrilling experiences her imagination will bring in the future.
'Crushology 101,' where you can catch a glimpse of the bold and charming imagination of Noh Jung-ui, will air its third episode at 9:50 p.m. on the 18th.
