Actor Park Hae-jun from 'You Quiz on the Block' shared a touching story about IU, with whom he formed a bond in the role of her father.
On the 16th, Park Hae-jun appeared in the tvN show 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereafter 'You Quiz'). He mentioned that he was invited to IU's concert after appearing as her father in the drama 'When Life Gives You Tangerines'.
Park Hae-jun said, 'When I was in my 20s, I went to a concert by Kang San, and this was my first time experiencing a concert,' adding that, 'This was really on a different level. It was like being at the Olympic opening ceremony; it was tremendous, they gave a lot of gifts, and they sang encore until midnight for 3-4 hours. It felt like an energy that a person could not possibly have.'
Still, Park Hae-jun expressed, 'It was so good, but I had seen IU as my daughter for a while; when I went to the dressing room, she had lost weight and looked completely exhausted. I felt so sorry that part of me wished she would stop.'
Park Hae-jun sent a video message to IU, saying, 'IU brought me tangerine syrup, and she sends Korean beef during the holidays and even ginseng.' He smiled brightly, saying, 'Geum-myung! Dad was on You Quiz!' and added, 'You do so much for me every holiday, and I don't know what to get you as a gift. Let me know if there is something you want. I will get you something big.'
