JYP Entertainment (hereinafter JYP) boy group NEXZ has released a visual video photo book to boost the comeback atmosphere.
NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, Sogen, Seita, Huyi, Yuki) will release their mini-album 'O-RLY?' and the title track of the same name on April 28. On the 14th, JYP first unveiled concept photos featuring the exclamation 'OH REALLY?' on their official social media channel, followed by a concept film showcasing the seven members' enhanced comeback visuals on the afternoon of the 15th.
The video captures moments of NEXZ's seven members from day to night in a warm atmosphere. They appear like the protagonist of a youth film with memory manipulation, drawing gazes beyond the camera and captivating viewers' hearts. NEXZ's visual strengths, which embody all the attractive elements favored by fans, shine, reinforcing the group's 'feel-good' identity.
Following their mini-album 'NALLINA' released last November, the new work 'O-RLY?' features the title track 'O-RLY?' along with 'Simmer', 'Want More? One More!', 'Run With Me', 'Slo-mo', and 'Z Side_250226 (CD Only)', which can only be heard on the physical album.
Ahead of the official album release, the surprise pre-release music video for the second track 'Simmer' surpassed 5 million views on YouTube within five days of its release, as of the morning of the 15th, thanks to favorable reviews from K-pop fans. Recently, a short-form content featuring the highlight performance section of 'Simmer' was opened, drawing attention to the group's abilities as a 'next-generation stage gem' with exceptional pacing and concept delivery.
Meanwhile, NEXZ will officially release their first comeback work of 2025, 'O-RLY?', on the 28th (Monday) at 6 p.m., and to commemorate this, they will hold the 'NEXZ [O-RLY?] POP-UP STORE' from April 30 to May 11 for 12 days at EQL Seongsu in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
