This summer's film 'Big Deal' (distributed by SHOWBOX, produced by The Lamp) has unveiled a character still of Lee Je-hoon, who transforms into Choi In-beom, a global investment firm employee trying to swallow a soju company.
The movie 'Big Deal', which is drawing attention with the meeting of national actor Yoo Hae-jin and Lee Je-hoon, showcased a character still featuring Choi In-beom (Lee Je-hoon), a global investment firm employee, approaching to take over KUKBO soju. 'Big Deal' tells the story of a financial director Jong-rok, for whom a soju company is everything, and In-beom, an employee of a global investment firm who seeks only revenue, facing the fate of Korean people's soju during the 1997 IMF financial crisis.
Model actor Lee Je-hoon, who has shown diverse charms across screens and on television through films like 'The Escape', 'I Can Speak', 'Park Yeol', and dramas such as 'The Art of Negotiation', 'Investigation Team 1958', and 'Taxi Driver', is ready to approach the audience as Choi In-beom, a global investment firm employee in 'Big Deal'.
The released character stills capture In-beom's ambitions and confidence as a competent employee of the global investment firm. Additionally, a slightly awkward image of In-beom holding a soju bottle in a restaurant also draws attention. The dedicated attitude of Jong-rok (Yoo Hae-jin) towards the company, along with In-beom's struggles to understand a gathering over a drink after work, creates curiosity about what changes In-beom will experience as he spends time with Jong-rok.
Regarding the character In-beom, who has lived by the motto 'Work is work, and life is life,' Lee Je-hoon noted, "He is a character with clear desires and goals while endlessly contemplating and conflicted." He added, "In-beom, who was not used to soju, begins to enjoy it after meeting Jong-rok," raising expectations for the unexpected changes In-beom will show in 'Big Deal.'
'Big Deal', which has generated expectations for refreshing enjoyment in theaters this summer with the release of character stills, will open nationwide on June 3rd.
