Xiumin has ultimately been expelled from "Heo's Diner."
In the 14th and 15th episodes of the Why Not Media drama "Heo's Diner" (written by Seong So-hyun, directed by Oh Hwan-min and Kim Kyung-eun), the precarious situation of Heo Kyun (Xiumin) and Bong Eun-sil (Choo So-jung) was depicted as they were shaken by Lee Hyuk's (Lee Se-on) scheming.
Heo Kyun fell into confusion after being offered a restaurant scout by Lee Hyuk. After much deliberation, Heo Kyun honestly confessed his true feelings to Eun-sil, who decided to sell the diner to Lee Hyuk. However, upon learning this, Heo Kyun confronted Eun-sil, urging her to go for it without regrets, and Eun-sil rejected Lee Hyuk's proposal, providing relief to the viewers.
Lee Hyuk could not hide his anxiety regarding the news of the reopening of "Heo's Diner" and was informed by Detective Kang (Oh Ji-ho) about Eun-sil's mother (Kim Hee-jung), who was in a coma. He also secretly broke into the restaurant to check the kitchen while Heo Kyun and Eun-sil were away, raising the tension with his sinister actions.
Simultaneously, Heo Kyun, who witnessed Eun-sil's mother's accident for the first time, began to get closer to the truth of the incident. Accustomed to modern civilization, he realized that the ringtone he heard at the time of the accident was the same as the notification sound of Lee Hyuk's mobile phone, and requested an investigation from Detective Kang. However, Eun-sil, who overheard their conversation, misunderstood the situation and the incident escalated uncontrollably.
Faced with an unbelievable reality, Eun-sil approached Lee Hyuk and inquired about the incident. Lee Hyuk, momentarily flustered, falsely claimed that Heo Kyun had intentionally approached Eun-sil to take over the diner, provoking the anger of viewers. He told Eun-sil, "Isn't it really a coincidence that that person was at your mother's accident scene?" sowing discord between her and Heo Kyun. Shocked by Lee Hyuk's words, Eun-sil concluded that Heo Kyun was involved in her mother's accident and ultimately informed Heo Kyun to leave the diner.
The relationship between the two collapsed rapidly amid deep misunderstandings, and the fate of "Heo's Diner" also became precarious. In response, Heo Kyun visited Detective Kang to request that the truth of Lee Hyuk's crimes be uncovered, but he sensed from Kang's vague and suspicious attitude that he was an accomplice of Lee Hyuk. As a gripping plot unfolded, it remains to be seen whether Heo Kyun will be able to uncover Lee Hyuk's crimes while struggling to protect "Heo's Diner" and Eun-sil, making the remaining story of these characters even more anticipated.
Meanwhile, "Heo's Diner" has been co-planned by Why Not Media, Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures, and Corpus Japan, with production by The Great Show. Episode 9 will be released on the 21st at 5 p.m. on Netflix and Wavve, at 7 p.m. on Watcha and Tving, and at 9 p.m. on MBN Plus.
